The Interac Hub Verification service offers ID verification using financial institution online authentication via the Interac Verification Service (IVS). There are two integration environments for Interac IVS:

• Preprod: Used for development and testing activities
• Prod: Used for live production services for real customers

In Preprod, there is one functional test financial institution (FI) called MyBank that partners can use to substitute authentication with a real financial institution. This test FI can be selected by click on MyBank highlighted in the diagram below.

Creating Test MyBank Accounts

To have test bank accounts created for the MyBank organization that can be used for online login and authentication, you will need to complete a CSV template with the details for each test bank account available My Bank Test data requisition process (internal KB, link restricted).

These test accounts for MyBank apply only to the Interac Hub Preprod environment.

The Prod environment uses live financial institutions and testing should be performed using live accounts. The Interac Developer Portal version of Hub utilizes a standalone instance and test accounts are already provided via the Developer Portal interface.
